What is Nyepi Day, and how does it affect our stay?
Nyepi, the Balinese Day of Silence, is a sacred Hindu celebration observed once a year. On this day, the entire island shuts down for 24 hours—no travel, no lights, no noise, and no outdoor activities are allowed from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM the next day. To honor the tradition and help guests experience it fully, there will be no resort services provided during this time. Guests must remain inside the resort grounds and are encouraged to embrace this peaceful, introspective day of rest, reflection, and connection with nature. It’s one of Bali’s most unique and meaningful cultural experiences.
